Heroes: Redemption: Hysterical Blindness

Sylar ( Zachary Quinto) has risen from the grave. Cop stops, suspicious. At the circus; they are eating breakfast. Claire (Hayden Panettiere) and Gretchen are lunching on campus. Claire is being invited to pledge her mother's sorority and invites Gretchen along. Dr. Madeline Gibson is going to do a criminal psyche intake on Sylar.

The doctor takes Sylar's handcuffs off. He continues flashing back. The deaf girl at a hospital in New York City. Conversion Disorder (Hysterical Blindness) is another theory her colleague has. Peter ( Milo Ventimiglia) is talking to Angela (Cristine Rose) in his apartment. "Can we just focus on me for a second mom?" says Peter. Her colleague wants her to be a doctor and take a residency she is being offered, Apparently, she is feeling guilty about someone's (Christopher?) death. Angela is going to wait for Nathan ( Adrian Pasdar) at Peter's. Claire and Gretchen are at the sorority house. Gretchen is talking about Claire to the sorority sisters. Deaf girl is on the street and see is experiencing the sound auras again. She backs into the street and is almost hit by a bus, save for Peter coming to her rescue.

Peter is trying to talk to her but she walks away. Uh oh! He has lost his powers. He kicks a trashcan in frustration and sees the sound aura. Samuel is at a site and is approached by Lydia, who wants to know who Samuel is targeting. He is planting and uses his powers to embed the seeds into the ground. Is he feeling pressure for making predictions to his family based on a feeling? Gretchen is wearing the sweater for which Claire is looking. Gretchen leaves, a book falls, Claire notices Gretchen's computer open with active windows all about Claire. Sylar is impressed with tea, like he is feeling everything for the first time. The doctor suggests jamais vu, the opposite of déjà vu, any familiar situation which is not recognized by the observer. She want's to try a memory exercise. She has Sylar close his eyes and relay to her the first thing he sees. He reports frustration at the asynchronization of her wristwatch and the wall clock. Peter arrives at the hospital. Children are singing. He sees the sound auras. Across the room is the deaf girl. Eye contact confirms they both can see it.

Peter is explaining to the deaf girl her ability. Now they are playing a duet on the piano. Who know Peter was musically inclined. He asks her out to lunch, inadvertently and possibly hurting her feelings. Claire is back at the sorority house. She meets another cheerleader. Claire pushes the girl, whom she was having a conversation with, out of the way as a pole/lance fall from the higher floor. Claire looks up and sees Gretchen. I think I know what was going through Claire's mind as she departs. The detective the encountered Sylar on the highway has discovered that Sylar is Gabriel, suspected of murdering his mother. He has sent the doctor home, unplugged the video camera and is threateningly approaching Sylar. Sylar puts his hands up in a defensive posture and send the detective through the bullet proof glass.

Dr. Gibson is in her car, reading Gabriel's file. All the lights go out. Sylar is knocking on her car window, requesting the help she promised. Gretchen says she didn't do it; Claire didn't say she did. Claire suspects Gretchen of killing Annie. Gretchen gives up trying to explain, grabs Claire and kisses her, stating she has a crush on Claire. The sorority girls knock, enter and invite both Claire and Gretchen to join the sorority. Samuel injects Lydia with ink, but sees nothing. Rebecca approaches, invisible at first. Samuel inquires to her progress with Claire. It has been Rebecca: pushed Annie out the window, placed the note on the pillow, made the book fall and sent the microphone down upon Claire's conversation. She is trying to divide Claire against her friends for Samuel. Apparently, he wants her to join his family.

Sylar is ducked down int he doctor's back seat. She stops. The detective arrives. He shoots Sylar dead on. He falls down the mountain side, grabbing the doctor along. She sees him heal. Here come the dogs and cops. Doctor tells him to run. Deaf girl is home again. She looks at cello and starts to play, trippin' on her ability, but appearing concerned. Claire and Gretchen are walking down a hall with lit candles. Rebecca appears behind them. Peter is at home and Hiro appears and immediately faints upon recognition of Peter. Sylar is running, through a haze. He has arrived at the carnival and is greeted by Samuel. The detectives are cut off by a mirage of an unending forest.
